Ghost Of A Chance – Special Edition out today

The album seems more popular now than ever, so we decided to release it with some extra material, including 6 live tracks recorded at Vega i April, remixes by Joker, Tiësto, Acid Washed, Efterklang and Troels Abrahamsen, and a brand new track featuring Steffen Brandt from TV2 (the first and maybe last song we’ve written in danish!). That’s 12 additional tracks for no extra cost.

You can order the album physically on Sonys music shop
Or you can buy it digitally on iTunes or through this little online shop (only in DK):

TurboKlang / EfterWeekend

Some of you may have noticed that we share the same graphic design team as Efterklang, namely the lovely Hvass & Hannibal. However that’s not all the two bands in common. Morten and Rasmus are also squash buddies, and now we have remixed each other as well :)

The two remixes premiered on TLOBF yesterday, and now you can download them for free right here (Right click and choose “save link as”):

Full Moon (Turboweekend Remix)
you can listen to the original on www.efterklang.net and www.myspace.com/efterklang

Sweet Jezebel (Efterklang Remix)
you can listen to the original on www.turboweekend.com and www.myspace.com/turboweekend

Efterklang remix of Sweet Jezebel can also be found on disc 2 of the special edition of Ghost Of A Chance, along with 6 live tracks from Vega, and remixes by Tiësto, Joker, Acid Washed and Troels Abrahamsen. Out monday (Vinyl out 21st).

This is only the second remix Efterklang does (the last one was for Grizzly Bear in 2005), and the third one that we do (last one was a dubby version of Yoav’s Beautiful Ones for the Stella Polaris 2009 compilation).

New web shop!

We now have our very own webshop, and we are proud to announce it open for business (wuhuuu!!). The first orders are already ticking in and we suggest you take a peak and see if there’s something in there for you, or someone you know. The link is in the menu bar at the top.

Here are Morten and Silas packing orders in the studio.

Germany, UK and other stuff

Hi all

It’s been a long time with no posts. We spend most our time on Facebook (which we update several times a day, because we have no offline life).

However here’s some of what has happened since last: First ‘Trouble Is’ made it to #1 on the German University Radio Chart and stayed there for two weeks, second Jokers spectacular remix of ‘Trouble Is’ got played on BBC 1, first by Mista Jam, then by several other dj’s. It has also been played on XFM UK, Rinse FM, and has been blogged by Fader, Neonized, XL8R and tons of other blogs world wide. The single and remix is available digitally in the UK and DK, and the 12″ vinyl is on it’s way (also featuring the track Holiday and a remix by Russell from Bloc Party).

What else? We played a couple of fun German gigs with Who Made Who in Berlin, Dortmund, Erlangen and Stuttgart, and hope to come back soon. Probably in February/March. The spree of gigs with WMW culminated in an amazing home coming night at Vega, Copenhagen at the Sound Of Copenhagen event. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a blast.

December will take us to Münich, Hagen and Aflenz near Vienna, before we go into christmas hibernation.
